Common Troubleshooting Issues & Self-Checks
A. Power & Display Issues
Issue: The LED display is off or turns dark
- Ensure the AC adapter is connected properly.
- Check if the power outlet is functioning by testing another device.
- Reconnect the adapter securely to a direct wall outlet.
- If the adapter is faulty, replace it with a compatible one.
- If the power supply has damaged the main unit, contact customer support.
Issue: The temperature or humidity display is incorrect
- Press and hold the temperature button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- To check the set humidity value, press and hold the humidity button for 2 seconds.
- If the display is flickering or unresponsive, unplug the cabinet for 10 minutes and restart.
Issue: Error Codes on Display (Er Er / 8888 / 0000) or Blank Screen
- Check if the power adapter is properly connected to a direct wall socket.
- If using an extension, try plugging it into a wall outlet instead.
Reset the system:
- Turn off the dry cabinet.
- Unplug the adapter from both the socket and the unit.
- Wait a few minutes, then reconnect and power it on.
- Allow time for it to stabilise before monitoring.
B. Humidity Control Problems
Issue: The internal humidity level is too high and not decreasing
- (Note: This does not apply during the first week of use, as the dry cabinet requires time to reach optimal conditions.)
- Ensure the cabinet door is sealed tightly.
- If ambient room temperature is below 20°C (68°F), the controller may ice up—move the cabinet to a warmer location and open the door for 5-10 minutes.
- Allow the cabinet to run without any stored items for at least 8 hours to stabilise.
- If the issue persists, the controller may be damaged—contact customer support.
Issue: Humidity is dropping too low
- Ensure the cabinet is not placed in an overly dry environment.
- Adjust the humidity setting using the control panel.
- Turn off the dry cabinet and leave the door open for a few minutes to stabilise the humidity level.
- Turn it back on and observe if the humidity stabilises.
C. Door & Seal Issues
Issue: Door is not closing properly
- Check if the rubber gasket is clean and intact.
- Ensure the cabinet is placed on a level surface.
- If the door is misaligned, slightly adjust the hinges.
Issue: Condensation inside the cabinet
- Verify that the door seal is not damaged.
- Minimise frequent or prolonged door openings.
- Ensure the dehumidifier is functioning properly.
D. Noise & Electrical Concerns
Issue: The cabinet is making unusual noises
- The dry cabinet operates silently; if you hear humming or buzzing, check the power adapter and ensure it’s securely connected.
- If the noise is excessive, the fan or electrical components may need servicing.
Issue: Burning smell or electrical fault
- Immediately unplug the cabinet and stop using it.
- Inspect for any visible wire damage.
- Contact customer support for immediate assistance.
