The 11-20mm F2.8 (equivalent to 17.6-32mm on full-frame) captures dynamic landscapes and architecture unique to ultra-wide perspectives. It is also well-suited for indoor group portraits and real estate photography. At the telephoto end, it provides a natural view for everyday snapshots, delivering soft, beautiful bokeh with its F2.8 aperture. - Compact and Lightweight
Specifically designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras, this lens is compact and light, measuring just 84.2mm in length and weighing 340g. It supports easy handheld shooting for stills and comfortable video capture with compact tripods or gimbals. The Canon RF mount version includes an AF/MF switch and a Connector Port for firmware updates via TAMRON Lens Utility™ software. - Outstanding Optical Performance
The lens incorporates 12 elements in 10 groups, including two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) elements for high resolution across the image area. An XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) and two LD (Low Dispersion) elements effectively minimise aberrations, ensuring clear image quality. The BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) Coating reduces ghosting and flare, faithfully rendering details even in backlit conditions. - MOD of 0.15m (5.9in) and Maximum Magnification Ratio of 1:4
With a minimum object distance of 0.15m at 11mm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4, the 11-20mm F2.8 offers wide-angle macro photography and creative shallow depth of field effects, enhancing subject prominence against blurred backgrounds. - High-Performance Autofocus System
TAMRON’s RXD motor unit provides high-speed, high-precision focusing, capturing moving subjects effectively. Its quiet stepping motor is ideal for both still photography and video in situations where silence is essential.
