Celebrate the spirit of joy, togetherness, and human connection through your lens! The 2025 Tamron Instagram Photo Contest invites photographers of all levels to capture their most memorable moments of celebration. Whether it’s a grand parade, a family gathering, or a quiet toast, we want to see how personal connections make every celebration meaningful.

How to Enter
- Capture a Moment of Celebration
Your entry must include at least ONE person or identifiable human detail (e.g., a silhouette, hand, or face). Focus on conveying the spirit of celebration, joy, and human connection. - Post on Instagram
- One photo per post (no multi-image or carousel posts).
- Hashtag: Include #TamronCelebration2025 in your caption.
- Tag: Tag @tamron_singapore in the post. Posts that are missing the correct hashtag or tag will not be eligible.
- Include a Caption
Share a brief reflection on the celebratory moment you’ve captured. Whether it’s a personal anecdote or a simple description, we want to understand the context of your image in relation to the theme. - Eligibility
- Open to photographers of all skill levels, using any interchangeable-lens camera (DSLR or mirrorless).
- Your Instagram account must be public to ensure we can view your entry.
- Entries must be taken after 1 January 2024.
- Multiple Entries
You can submit up to 5 individual posts throughout the contest period.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated based on the following:
- Theme Relevance: How well your photograph conveys celebration and includes a human element.
- Creativity & Originality: The novelty of your composition, lighting, and perspective.
- Technical Quality: The sharpness, exposure, colour balance, and overall clarity of the image.
- Visual & Emotional Impact: The emotional resonance your image conveys, amplified by the human connection.

By participating in the Tamron Singapore Instagram Photo Contest 2025 (“the Contest”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Eligibility
- The Contest is open to all photographers using an interchangeable-lens camera (DSLR or mirrorless), regardless of brand, skill level, or location.
- Participants must have a public Instagram account. Private or restricted accounts will not be eligible.
- Entries must be photographs taken on or after 1 January 2024.
- Contest Entry
- Each entry must include at least one person or identifiable human element (e.g., a silhouette, hand, face, or full figure) to highlight human connection.
- Only one photo per post will be accepted. No multi-image or carousel posts.
- To qualify, each post must include the hashtag #TamronCelebration2025 and tag @tamron_singapore in the caption. Posts that do not meet these requirements will be disqualified.
- Submissions and Multiple Entries
- You may submit up to 5 individual posts during the contest period (16 January 2025 – 28 February 2025).
- All entries must be submitted within the contest period. Entries submitted outside of these dates will not be considered.
- Ownership and Copyright
- You must be the sole owner and creator of the photographs submitted.
- By entering, you grant Tamron Singapore permission to use your submitted photographs for promotional and marketing purposes, with credit attributed to you as the photographer.
- You retain full ownership of your images, subject to the rights granted to Tamron Singapore as outlined in these terms.
- Editing and Manipulation
- Basic edits such as cropping, colour correction, and exposure adjustments are allowed.
- Overly manipulated images that misrepresent the original scene or violate the spirit of the contest may be disqualified.
- Judging and Winner Selection
- A panel of judges selected by Tamron will evaluate entries based on the following criteria:
- Theme Relevance: How well the photograph reflects the theme of celebration and incorporates a human element.
- Creativity & Originality: Novelty in composition, perspective, lighting, and subject matter.
- Technical Quality: Sharpness, exposure, colour balance, and overall clarity.
- Visual & Emotional Impact: The emotional connection conveyed by the image, enhanced by human presence.
- The judges’ decisions are final and binding. No appeals or correspondence will be entertained.
- A panel of judges selected by Tamron will evaluate entries based on the following criteria:

- First Prize: Tamron A074 28-300mm E-mount lens (worth $1,588).
- Second Prize: Tamron A071 28-200mm E-mount lens (worth $1,188).
- Third Prize: Cavix Carbon Fibre PT-254X1C (worth $388).
- Star Prize: 6 winners will each receive a Nitecore BB Nano Blower (worth $69 each).
- Prizes are subject to availability and may be restricted by shipping schedules. In the event of unavailability, an alternative prize of equal or greater value may be offered.
- Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal information provided during the Contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest, notifying winners, and distributing prizes.
- By entering, you agree to provide any necessary contact details required for prize fulfilment.
- Disqualification
- Entries that are offensive, plagiarised, or infringe upon third-party rights will be disqualified.
- Any entries that do not comply with the Contest rules (e.g., missing the correct hashtag, posting from a private Instagram account) will also be disqualified.
- Changes to the Contest
- Tamron Singapore reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest at any time under unforeseen circumstances. Any changes or updates will be announced via Tamron Singapore’s official website or Instagram account.
- Final Decision
- The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entertained regarding the outcome of the Contest.
