Tamron Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of the ultra wide-angle 16–30 mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (Model A064) zoom lens.
This new G2-series addition will be available from 31 July 2025 for Sony E-mount and 22 August 2025 for Nikon Z-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras.
Building on the acclaimed 17–28 mm F/2.8 Di III RXD (Model A046), the 16–30 mm F/2.8 G2 broadens its zoom range while retaining a compact, lightweight form. It delivers exceptional image quality, high-speed autofocus and improved operability, with compatibility for Tamron Lens Utility™ to fine-tune settings for both stills and video.
